He was predeceased by: his parents, Alice Hendrix and Render Hendrix. He is survived by: his wife Pat Ratledge Hendrix; his children, Ronald Hendrix, Christy Searcy (Bucky), Hayley Hays (Tom) and Rainey Soriero; his grandchildren, Dillon Searcy (Katie), Alyssa King (Kaleb), Kyndal Hendrix, Amii Hendrix, Jesse Hendrix, Tad Soriero (Baylie), Hayden Hays and Lauren Hays; and his great grandchildren, Gracie, Ivy, Whitley, Mills, Magnolia, Watson and Levi Jack.
