He is survived by: his wife Harriet; his children, Debra Dickerson (Riley), R. Carter Pittman, III and Guy Pittman (Sharon); his grandchildren, Kalyn Ridgeway (Tyler), Charlie Dickerson and Guyton Pittman (Davina); his great grandchild Stella Ridgeway; his sister Carol Tipton (Joanne Thompson); and his sisters-in-law, Vicki Casares (Paul) and Cindy Beasley (Del). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mark's Episcopal Church, the National Kidney Foundation, or to one's favorite charity.
