He was predeceased by: his parents, June Marie Shepard Wetherington and William Russell Wetherington; and his brother Kelly Crosby. He is survived by: his siblings, Russell Wetherington of Hahira, Donald Wetherington (Becky) of Hahira, Georgia, Patricia Easton (Billy) of The Villages and Sandra Preston of Hahira, Georgia; and his nieces and nephews, Hannah Plueger (Wesley), Megan Lally (Joe), Jessica Carter, Jimmy Giffin, Missy Easton, Chris Preston, Hayley Preston and Kara Preston.
The family requests that no flowers be sent and that donations be made in William's honor to Atrium Health Navicent Health Center at 777 Hemlock Street, Macon, Georgia 31201.
