He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Herman Thomas and Hazel Alliegood Thomas; and his siblings, Barbara, Evelyn and Jesse Lee (Jacqueline Ann Pagliarulo).
He is survived by: his children, Debra Thomas of Houston, TX, William Thomas, Jr. (Annette) of Houston, Rolin Thomas (Kate) of San Francisco, CA and Troy Peeples (Torrie) of Orlando, FL; and his brother Walter Thomas of Mason, TX.. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
