He is survived by: his wife Mary Rutherford Portivent of Hahira; his children, Shane Mangham (Wendy) of Eastman, Janna Sellars of Macon, Dena Morales (Joshua) of Macon and Lance Portivent of Warner Robins; his grandchildren, Taylor Middlebrooks (Brittany), Cody Mangham (Rebecca), Mason Mangham, Kayla Monroe, Haleigh Monroe (Jordan Smith), Jordan Sellars, Landon Stubbs, Lanna Stubbs and Liam Morales; his great grandchildren, Mitch Mangham, Harper Middlebrooks and Holden Smith; and his brothers, Tony Portivent (Karen) of Hawkinsville and Reggie Portivent (Jackie) of Mystic.
