He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Bannister and Ada Mendenhall Bannister; and his daughter Carol Jean Bannister. He is survived by: his wife Georgia Winter Bannister; his children, William Lee Bannister, Peter Lynn Bannister (Myrna), Paul Douglas Bannister, Michael Wayne Bannister (Lisa) and Donna Mae Bannister; and his brother Kenneth Bannister. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren.
