It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sally Scriven Brownell of Hahira, Georgia, born in Elmira, New York, who passed away on March 6, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Edward Scriven; her husband Frederick Alvin Brownell; and her siblings, Jerry Scriven, Joseph Scriven, Priscilla Skorczewski and Sandra Boom.
She is survived by: her sons, Scott Brownell of Hahira and Galen Brownell of Goose Creek, SC; her grandchildren, Jennifer Axman (David) of Charleston, SC and Justin Brownell (Courtney) of Summerville, SC; her great grandchildren, Tristan Axman of Charleston, SC, Simon Axman of Charleston, SC and Cayden Axman of Charleston, SC; her brother Warren; her sister-in-law Dawn Scriven of Beaver Dams; her siblings, Neil Scriven of Beaver Dams and Cheryl; her brother-in-law Raymond Ball of Beaver Dams; her brother Dick; and her sister-in-law Candy Clark of Binghamton.
