He was predeceased by: his parents, Leland Linahan (Linahan Sr.) and Mary "Shady" Linahan (Harris); and his siblings, Leland Linahan Jr. and Wanda Carter. He is survived by: his wife Kay Linahan of Hahira, Georgia; his children, Kaysie Redding (Jamie) of Hahira, Georgia, Robyn Peters (Justin) of Barretts, Georgia and Jay Linahan Jr. of Hahira, Georgia; his grandchildren, Cameron Miley, Leland Peters, Ryleigh Redding, Bentley Redding and Kynsleigh Redding; his sister-in-law Willie Linahan (Pam) of Hahira, Georgia; his brother Patrick Linahan of Valdosta, Georgia; his siblings-in-law, Kay Bellflower Linahan and David Carter; and his close friend Larry Kolb of Hahira, Georgia.. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Chapel of Music Funeral Services - Valdosta (3831 N Valdosta Rd, Valdosta, GA 31602). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 23rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Fellowship Baptist Church (2239 Hutchinson Pond Rd, Hahira, GA 31632). A burial will be held on Sunday, March 23rd 2025 at the Fellowship Cemetery (2238 Hutchinson Pond Rd, Hahira, GA 31632).
