He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Vercie Mae and Ted Courson; his aunt Myra Courson; and his grandparents, John and Vina Anderson.
He is survived by: his mother Joyce Bailey; his stepfather Tommy Bailey; his son Evan "Skyler" Courson; his sister Shannon Lindsey of Hahira; his cousins, Wendy Robinette and Patricia Terry of Valdosta; and his aunt Linda Brown. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
