It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marc Croom Jr. of Hahira, Georgia, who passed away on August 21, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marcus Jacobi Croom, Sr. and Laura Clarice Johnson Croom; his daughter Laura Elizabeth Lurk; and his brother Leslie Croom. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Jane "Janie" Sims Croom of Hahira; his son Marcus Croom, III; his daughter-in-law Patricia Croom of Summerville; his stepsons, Keith Barrett of Hahira and Lee of Hahira; his daughter-in-law Jean Barrett of Hahira; and his brothers, Parris (Barbara Croom) and Jeff (Mary Beth Croom). He is also survived by five grandchildren and one step-grandson.
In lieu of flowers, the family members ask that memorials be made to the Fellowship Baptist Church Building Fund.
