He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Eidson and Dovie Gray; and his siblings, Hazel Porter, Oneida Cameron, Sara Shaw and Lamar Eidson.

He is survived by: his wife Loudell Eidson of Hahira; his children, Brenda O'Keefe of Hahira and Dennis Eidson; his daughter-in-law Linda Randolph of Aiken; his grandchildren, Shannon McGee, Jesse and Nikki O'Keefe of Hahira; and his great grandchildren, Colby McGee, Harley McGee and Cali O'Keefe of Hahira. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.

Flowers will be accepted but donations may be made to Hospice of South Georgia or Gideons International.
