He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Coppage and Bessie Cain Coppage; his siblings, Ralph Jackson Coppage, Etheridge Gordon Coppage, Ronald Eugene Coppage, Billy Joe Coppage, Edward Joseph Coppage and Mary Alice Nitschke; and his wife Joy Elliott Coppage.
He is survived by: his sons, Joseph Lyle Coppage of Telluride, Justin Cade Ply (Kayla) of Adel and Brandon Elliott Ply of Lanier; and his grandchildren, Holden Joseph Coppage of Telluride, Melinda Jayne Mandaville of Colorado Springs, Cade Bailey Ply of Valdosta, Madison Joy Ply of Valdosta, Kastyn Perry Ply of Adel, Kelsey Caden Gonzalez (Angel) and Kolby Ryan Ply (Mallory) of Valdosta. He is also survived by two great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Bethany (Affinity) Hospice.
