It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Gaskins of Hahira, Georgia, who passed away on August 4, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Christopher C. Willis and Leona Lupo Willis; her husband Wayne Wallace Gaskins, Sr.; her son John Christopher Gaskins; her granddaughter Sydni Ashton Walker; her son-in-law Harold Atkins; and her brothers, Randall Willis and Coy Willis.
She is survived by: her children, Jackie Gaskins Atkins of Atlanta, Wayne Wallace Gaskins, Jr. of Hahira and Terri; her son-in-law Tony Walker of Valdosta; her grandchildren, Randy Atkins (Amber) of Chapin, NC, John Atkins (Amy) of Powder Springs, GA, Erica Gaskins of Valdosta, Kearston Gaskins of Douglas, GA, Griffin Gaskins of Douglas, GA and Bryce Walker of Valdosta; her siblings, Shirley Ambros (Ray) of The Villages, FL and Harry Willis of Casper, WY; her great grandchildren, Zaiden Gaskins, Leiloni Gaskins, Christian, Caleb, Caden, Cameron Atkins, Addison and Ashtyn Atkins; and her cousin Jerry Lupo (Terri).
