She was predeceased by: her husband John; and her siblings, Barbara Buttrum, Juanita Scheurman, Emanuel Parris, Jr. and Ronnie Parris.

She is survived by: her sons, Ricky A. Folsom (Cheryl) and Dennis W. Folsom (Virginia); her grandchildren, Richard, Olivia, Jake, Chance and Luke; and her sisters, Geneva Motes and Mary Coleman.
