He was predeceased by: his mother Mary "Janie" Shultz Oden. He is survived by: his daughters, Harleigh Oden of Macon and Haley Abbott (Austin) of San Antonio, Texas; his fiancée Joanne Dees of Haddock; his stepson Levi Parson; his father Jerry Oden; his sister Melissa Ferris (Brandon); his uncle John Shultz (Erica); and his close friends, Tony Selph and Ray Stevenson of Macon. He is also survived by five grandchildren.

The family is accepting donations to defray funeral cost which can be made to and in care of Gray Memorial Chapel.
