With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Billy Mitchell of Haddock, Georgia, born in Hopewell, Virginia, who passed away on October 14, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father-in-law Wilbur Allen Barnes. He is survived by: his wife Rebekah Barnes Mitchell; his daughters, Bethany Herin (Daniel) and Maggie Upchurch (Chris); his grandchildren, Rylee Ann Herin, Daniel Paul Herin and Allison Grace Upchurch; his parents, James Mitchell and Brenda Mitchell; his sister Angie Hooper (Stephen); and his mother-in-law Kaye Quinn Barnes. He is also survived by papaw to his grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Daniel Paul Herin Medical Fund, care of Morris Bank in Gray.
