He was predeceased by: his parents, Jefferson E. Davis and Sarah Elizabeth Graham Davis; his wife Betty; and his brothers, E. J., George and Alton Davis.
He is survived by: his sister Hildreth Collum; his children, Loy Davis (Nell), Sheryll Smalley (Phil) and Jeff Davis (Donna); and his sisters-in-law, Carolyn Edwards (Tarver) and Marya Phillips. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, three special grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.
