He is survived by: his wife Sharon Woods Thompson; his children, Chris Thompson of Savannah, Richard Thompson (Stephanie) of Savannah, Tommy Sears (Jenny) of Alabama and Tina Damiano of Savannah; and his brother Warren Thomas (Beverly) of Savannah. He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
