He was predeceased by: his mother Lillie Mae Hayes; and his siblings, Herman Edward McDaniel, Emogene McDaniel, Virginia McDaniel Taylor and Sara Helen McDaniel Grund.
He is survived by: his wife Jessica L. McDaniel; his children, Ryan Douglas McDaniel, Joy Charlotte McDaniel Mosley and Roy Clayton McDaniel; his grandchildren, Evans Clayton McDaniel, Gabriella Caroline McDaniel, Frank Brantley McDaniel, Scout Lewis Mosley, Nash Lewis Mosley, Cameron Jayce McDaniel and Jaden Cole McDaniel; and his siblings, Marie Hall, Bobby Lee McDaniel, William Carol McDaniel, Carl Eugene McDaniel and Jimmy Lee McDaniel. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
