He is survived by: his wife Wanda Griffin; his children, Lisa Caine (Carter) of Springfield, Michael J. Griffin of Guyton and George O. Griffin (Shannan) of Guyton; his sister Martha Walsh (Bill) of Tybee Island; and his grandchildren, Mabry Raye Overstreet, Bryce Christopher Findley, Kodah Durst Rericha, Trina Estill Stanley, George Kaden Griffin, Kyle Joseph Griffin, Audrey Helaina Hicks and Kohin Wayne Griffin. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 4:30 PM at the Carlson & Riggs Funeral Home (1979 GA-119, Guyton, GA 31312). Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. The military honors was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
