He is survived by: his wife Linda Ray Smith; his children, Crystal Kennedy (Rader), Adam Deal, Ashley Bird (Dwayne) and Mathew Hendrix; his grandchildren, Regan Kennedy, Chase Kennedy, Anthony Bird, Caroline Bird and Abigail Bird; his mother Frances Jarrell Smith; his brothers, Roger Smith and Carl (Dana Smith); his nieces, Holli Smith and Molly Smith Harter; and his nephew Dustin Smith.
Due to Covid, the family will have a private funeral and burial.
