He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Maier, Sr. and Charlene Himmelheber; and his brother Gene Maier (Linda). He is survived by: his wife Margaret Salter Maier; his sister Janice Robinson (Kenny); his nieces, Kelly Gerding (Chris) and Sara Newton (Will); his great-niece Hailey; and his father-in-law Jerry Salter, Sr..
