She is survived by: her children, Devon Dean and Cynthia Dean Bazemore; her granddaughters, Carlie, Katie Bazemore and Jenna Roberson; and her siblings, John Slater and Lucy Thompson. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.
