He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney Jackson Sr. and Annie Mae Timmons Jackson; his siblings, Sidney Jackson Jr., Grady Jackson, Geraldine Dukes and Eva Mae Roberson; his son-in-law Harry Wright; his daughters, Cynthia Darlene King and Terry Lynn Johnson; his granddaughter Cana Kierra-Novella King; and his former wife Jeanette Thomas Jackson Sharpe.

He is survived by: his children, Donna Brewton (Victor), Caroline Jackson, Janet Harrell (Wayne), Brenda Wright, Carl Jackson, Veronica Madison and Kayla Nicole Jackson-Mobley (Ziaire); and his siblings, Patricia Clark, Sandra Butler (James), Sadie Jackson, Easter Mae Jenkins, Walter Jackson, James Jackson, Tommy Lee Jackson and Roland Jackson. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends.

Viewing was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the King and Son's Funeral and Cremation Services - Glennville (5236 US-301, Glennville, GA 30427). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church (244 Jerusalem Church Rd, Pembroke, GA 31321).
