He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Benjamin and Mary Boyce Underhill. He is survived by: his wife Linda Benjamin; his daughters, Teryl McLane (Keith), Hope Muehlenbeck (Gary) and Dana Cason (Donald); his grandchildren, Lance Nelson, Cahlie Nelson, Allison Clark, Kristen Cason, Kirsten Jones, Chloe Jones, Gabriel Jones, Noah Nelson, Katie Cason and Andrew Melillo; his great grandchildren, Aubree Nelson, Evelyn Sherwood, Rowan Clark, Elijah Sherwood, Lila Clark and Tripp Cason; and his brother Joe Benjamin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
