It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kennith Lanier Sr. of Guyton, Georgia, born in Statesboro, Georgia, who passed away on April 25, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elliott Lanier and Lurline Blitch Lanier; his wife JoAnn McLaughlin Lanier; and his siblings, Bobbie McClellan and Arnie C. Lanier.
He is survived by: his children, Kenny Lanier, James Curtis Lanier (Teresita), Lawrence A. Lanier (Jolene), John Randall Lanier, Andrew Lanier and Karen Diane Lanier (Gary Moore); and his brothers, Donald Lanier and Charles Lanier. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
