With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Juanita Gladys Milton of Guyton, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 2, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Juanita Gladys leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Curtis and Frances Reese Curtis; and her husband Jessie Milton, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Jackie Glenn, Genester Milton, MyCell Milton and Jessie Lee Milton, Jr.; and her siblings, Lorane Curtis Reid, Loretta Curtis Robert, John Melvin Curtis and Donald Eugene Curtis. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and numerous other relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Friday, October 11th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Smalls Funeral Home, Inc. (203 Samuel Smalls Sr Ave, Guyton, GA 31312). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, October 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church (724 Central Blvd, Guyton, GA 31312). A burial was held on Saturday, October 12th 2024 at the Ferguson Cemetery.
