It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph M. Pye Jr. of Guyton, Georgia, born in Rockford, Illinois, who passed away on July 11, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Pye and Gladys Robbins Pye. He is survived by: his daughters, Melinda E. Pye Schuman (Gregg) and Robin M. Pye Ketcham (Kevin); and his grandchildren, Katelyn Grainger (Luke), Kevin A. Ketcham, Braden Schuman, Kelsey Ketcham, Brody Schuman and Kinsley Ketcham.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association in Joe's name.
