It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Homer Slater of Guyton, Georgia, who passed away on October 12, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Slater and Helen Slater; his siblings, Thomas of Calvin, L. B., Jack Slater and Helen Slater; and his close friends, Jimmy Mitchell and Grace Knight.
He is survived by: his brothers, Earl Slater and Richard Slater; and his friends, Bobby and Marcia Strickland. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
