It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Henry Telfair Pinckney Sr. of Guyton, Georgia, who passed away on June 11, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Eustace Pinckney and Ella Pritchard Pinckney; his wife Eleanor Stelljes Pinckney; and his children, J. H. Stelljes Pinckney, Dianne Pinckney Cobb and Sheila Brogan Boulineau.
He is survived by: his children, Donna Martin (Charlie R. Martin, Jr.), Sharon Fender and Henry T. Pinckney, Jr.; and his sister Dorothy Pinckney Gnann. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
He retired from Claxton Poultry, volunteered at Candler Hospital, played Santa Claus, and enjoyed charity work.
