Helen Dubberly Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Dubberly of Guyton, Georgia, who passed away on August 2, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Judson Derring Taylor and Mahalia Rebecca Davis Taylor; her husband Jasper Leroy "Red" Dubberly; and her siblings, Ruth Taylor Eason, Henry Derring Taylor, Wynell Taylor Sellers, Calvin Taylor, Grace Taylor Kicklighter, Claudett Taylor Craven Conner and Voncill Taylor.

She is survived by: her daughters, Pansy Roper (John) of Ashville, NC, Rena Roush (Mike) of Savannah, GA, Kathy Cook (Ed) of Guyton, GA, Marsha Waller (Ken) of Dearing, GA and Jennifer Akin (Dan) of Waverly Hall, GA; her grandchildren, Hayley Wells (Damian) of Ashville, NC, Judson Cook of Guyton, GA, Reid Cook (Laura) of Guyton, GA, Allie Bowling (Dwight) of Grovetown, GA, Kara Brakefield (Lake) of Columbus, GA, Sallie Akin of Waverly Hall, GA and Briley Akin of Waverly Hall, GA; and her great grandchildren, Maddox Cook, Addison Bowling, Davis Cook, Emerson Cook, Jasper Wells, Brayden Bowling, Karolyn Schlader and Blanchard Brakefield. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews and other extended family members including brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
