It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Jones of Guyton, Georgia, born in Savannah, Georgia, who passed away on March 7, 2025, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Dewey Jones, Jr. and Cecelia Dotson Jones; and his brother Dennis Jones. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Jones of Guyton, GA; his children, Tina Hall (Woodrow) of Guyton, GA, Cindy Roscinski (Rhett) of Guyton, GA, Gerald Jones Jr. (Kassie) of Pembrook, GA and Brandon Jones (Travis Deloach) of Guyton, GA; his grandchildren, Garrett, Kaitlyn Hall, Kolebe, Cohner, Blake, Ryleigh Roscinski, Matthew, Mason, Maverick Jones and Adalyn Jones; and his brothers, Jimmy Jones of Guyton, Mike Jones (Irene) of Guyton, Darrell Jones of Guyton and Donnie Jones (Janet) of Garden City. He is also survived by other loving family members including mother and father-in-law, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the North Salem Baptist Church (955 GA-30, Savannah, GA 31407). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
