She is survived by: her children, Herbert Fort, Jr. (Selena) of Guyton and Becky Smith (Derrick) of Effingham; her siblings, John Coursey (Robin) of Eden and Joyce Fort (Wayne) of Guyton; her grandchildren, Miranda Gillis (Kyle), Sarah Fort (David Mixon), Adam Smith (Britany) and Arron Smith (Melanie); her great grandchildren, Jaxson Gillis, Daylon Mixon, Landon Smith, Chesney Smith, Lawton Smith and Lainey Smith; and her nephew Kelly Fort of Shawnee. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Carlson & Riggs Funeral Home (1979 GA-119, Guyton, GA 31312).
