She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Wells and Laverne Wells (Hodges); and her sister Judy Miller. She is survived by: her husband Arthur "Bubba" Sheffield, Sr.; her sons, Arthur "Arty" Sheffield, Jr. (Edna) of Dallas and Robert E. Sheffield (LaQuieta) of Tahlequah, Oklahoma; her grandchildren, Anthony of Tahlequah, Oklahoma and Savannah Sheffield of Tahlequah, Oklahoma; her brother Michael Wells of Rincon; and her aunt Nadine Sims of Baxley, Georgia. She is also survived by her loving nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Carlson & Riggs Funeral Home (1979 GA-119, Guyton, GA 31312). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
