She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ruth Thompson and Fred Thompson; her child Beverly; her husband Rev. Johnny Hathaway; her son Jonathan; her daughter-in-law Naomi Hathaway; her daughter Danna; her son-in-law O'Neal Jones; her grandchildren, Jasmine, Jaden, Jack, Cason, Darcy and Emersyn; her brother David; and her sister-in-law Debra Hathaway. She was also cherished by many other family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Beverly's honor to the Georgia Baptist Children's Home in Baxley, Georgia.
