It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Irene Pittman (Guyton, Georgia), born in Savannah, Georgia, who passed away on September 26, 2023, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her husband Joe Pittman; her children, Christopher Lee Pittman (Natalie) of Gainesville, FL and Rebecca Lynn Pittman of Austin, TX; her siblings, Edward Hargroves of Marlow, Elizabeth Cole (Mark) of Marlow and Dorothy Dasher of Sandhill; her aunt Ann; her uncle Wilbur Peeples of Palmer, AK; her close friends, Vera Dasher of Marlow, Sarah Cassell of Rincon and Patty Slavic of Washington State; and her pet Anna Marie. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
