With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Virginia Lowery Cooley of Guyton, Georgia, born in Savannah, Georgia, who passed away on October 1, 2022 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Lowery and Minnie Lowery; her husband Jack Cooley; and her siblings, Harvey J. Lowery, Jr., Joan Ketron (Jerry) and Linda Parker (Ken).
She is survived by: her daughters, Janet Alexander (Robert), Pam Blake (Gordon), Kim Riedman (Paul) and Jackie Alexander (David); her grandchildren, Joshua Blake (Tiffany), Hollie Phillips (Ryan), Kevin Alexander, Jordan Gardner (Andrew), Zachary Blake (Courtney), Blake Alexander (Amanda) and Gabrielle Alexander; her great grandchildren, J. T., Abby, Jaxon, Adaline, Hudson and Ellis; and her brother Otis Lowery (Sarah). She is also survived by numerous brothers and sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that remembrances be made to the American Diabetes Association.
