With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sara Elizabeth (Vickery) Ayers in Grovetown, Georgia, who passed away on January 18, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Julian B Vickery and Sara "Ruth" Herring Vickery; and her son Jeffrey Ray Ayers. She is survived by: her husband Ray "Alton" Ayers; her daughters, Rae Guthrie (Larry) of Athens, Vickie Wurst (Randy) of Grovetown and Patti Daniel (Craig) of Hartwell; her grandchildren, Bennett Guthrie (Grace), Bailey Veal (Jay), Clara Wurst, George Wurst (Kathryn), Hayden Guthrie, Emma Wurst, Andrew Guthrie, Sophie Wurst, Jack Wurst, Jackson Daniel and Lincoln Daniel; and her great grandchildren, Baylor and Birdie Wurst.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Liberty Hill Church (1473 Liberty Hill Church Rd, Hartwell, GA 30643). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
