He is survived by: his wife Karen; his daughter Eve "Mimi" Alston; his siblings, Brenda Wells, Vanessa Brown (Marvin), Vivian Lorraine Boyd-Thompson (Earl), Steven Boyd (Myrta) and Wanda Boyd; and his close friend Neil James. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
