He was predeceased by: his parents, Pierce Anderson and Waddell Anderson. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Mathis Anderson; his children, Julie Anderson Hopkins and Christopher Robert Anderson; his son-in-law Johnsy Hopkins; and his grandchildren, Hollie Waddell Norman and Hunter Tucker Hopkins.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude's Childrens Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl.
