It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kathleen A. Allen of Grovetown, Georgia, born in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 4, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John J. Lapina Sr. and Katherine Lapina (Felentzer); her husband John A. Allen; her brothers, John J. Lapina Jr. and Lawrence Lapina; and her sister-in-law Carin Lapina.
She is survived by: her sons, Michael J. Allen (Jennifer) of Evans, GA and Matthew J. Allen (Lindsay) of Philadelphia, PA; her brothers, Terence P. Lapina and William E. Lapina; and her grandchildren, Olivia Allen, Michael Bennett Allen and John Wesley Allen. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Jeannette Historical Society.
