We are sad to announce that on November 3, 2020, at the age of 69, Karen Newman of Grovetown, Georgia, born in Augusta, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her sons, Travis Petrea and Scott Petrea; her brother Gordon Thomas; her sister-in-law Linda Thomas; her daughter-in-law Mirenda Petrea; and her grandchildren, Ganon Mitchell and Aaron Mitchell. She is also survived by many other cousins, nieces, and nephews.
