He was predeceased by: his parents, John Penny and Lottie Penny; and his brothers, Gordon Penny (Helen) and Jake Penny (Rosemary). He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth South Penny; his daughters, Tracy Gambrell (Robert) and Tina Penny; his grandchildren, Grace Gambrell and Robert Clayton Gambrell, Jr.; his brothers, Ken Penny (Sonya) and Guy Penny (Kay); and his children, Joseph Penny, Jr., Teresa Beach, Christina Breece and John Penny. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
