He is survived by: his daughters, Latoya Michelle Franklin, Shawana Niclole Livingston and Pamela Larane Franklin; his mother Clary L. Richardson; his close friend Gweneva I. Jackson; his child Nyema Showers; his siblings, David Franklin, Ruth Dixon and Malinda Franklin; and his aunt Amie Jamison. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives.
