He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Sr. Rawls and Laura Lee Rawls; his wife EdWena Walker Rawls; and his siblings, Lollie Bell Rawls, Eddie and Larry Rawls.
He is survived by: his children, Rachory K. Rawls of Yukon and Ashlee Sanders (Wayne) of Grovetown; his grandchildren, Da'Vanta, Trevon, Rayven, Avoniqa, Karlee (Dylan) and Kaiden; his great grandchildren, Layla and Leeland; his siblings, Willie James Rawls (Jeneal), Mary Joyce (Carroll), Charlie Rawls, Raymond Jr. Rawls (Ann), Donald Rawls, Ronald Rawls (Wanda), Kenneth Rawls (Felisha) and Johnnie Mae Dorris (Marcus); his siblings-in-law, Willie Walker, Bernest Jr. Walker (Francis), Gloria Jean Tremble, Carrie Bell Jones (Harry) and Alberta Rawls; and his friends, J. C. Littles, Philip Dickerson, Brenda Foster, Connie Luna and Patricia Smith.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Craig R. Tremble Funeral Homes, Inc., Statesboro Chapel (238 W Main St, Statesboro, GA 30458). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Miller Grove Missionary Baptist Church (7829 GA-24, Statesboro, GA 30461).
