He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Allen and Elizabeth Allen (Ernette). He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Allen (Lapina); his sons, Michael Allen (Jennifer Allen) of Evans, GA and Matthew Allen (Lindsay Mauck) of Philadelphia; and his grandchildren, Olivia Allen, Michael Bennett Allen and John Wesley Allen. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Jeannette Historical Society or the American Cancer Society.
