She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John Fred and Josie Virginia Harrell Nichols; her husband Preston Jesse Arthur McDaniel; her children, Scott David McDaniel (Elizabeth), Jason Harrell Knight (Darlene), Jared Blake Knight (Tracy), Preston Andrew "Andy" McDaniel (Robin) of Huntersville and Catherine Jeanne "Katie" McGahee of Summerville; and her grandchildren, Justin Harrell Knight, Jacob Martin Knight, Logan Blake Knight, Addie Elizabeth McDaniel, Ashlyn Taylor Smith, Annalee Rose McDaniel, Preston Andrew "Drew" McDaniel, II, Grace Elizabeth McDaniel and Noah Blake McGahee.
