He was predeceased by: his wife Elizabeth Bruner Wise; his parents, Franklin Lee Wise and Virginia Price Wise; and his siblings, Hollis Wise and Gladys Wise.
He is survived by: his son Vernon Wise (Ginny); his nephew Barry Wise; his grandchildren, Adam Wise (Amy), Brandon Wise and Whitney Beard (Chris); and his great grandchildren, Bennett Beard and Karsyn Wise.
