He was predeceased by: his spouse Faye Powell; and his parent Madie Chavous Powell. He is survived by: his parent Ernest Powell, Sr; his children, Robin Conner and Jason Philip Powell, Sr. of Grovetown; his stepdaughter Jennie Barbarisi of Augusta; and his siblings, James Powell of Jackson, SC and Helen Harris of Akron, OH.. He is also survived by six grandchildren; two great grandchildren.
