He was predeceased by: his wife Deanna Johnson Gibbs; his children, Jewell Miriam Gibbs, Laura Marie Gibbs, Linda Catherine Houle (Richard), Joseph David Gibbs and Eric Glenn McConnell (Michelle Suzanne); his sister Martha Anne Bagby (Roger); his pet Wall-E. Mr; his parents, Catherine and Eldridge David Gibbs, Sr.; and his sister Nancy Godowns.
